The AX-80 uses DCOs. Enough already with this. Call Akai, look at the schematic, look at the tech forums. Stop spreading misinformation on this synth. It uses DCOs NOT VCOs.

What chip is the "Analog" delay based on. If it's a PT2399 then it's not analog it's digital. Someone needs to open one of these up to verify if Akai is making false claims that these are analog. One thing's for sure, these are being made by Biyang in china with Akai graphics stenciled on.

Too bad the delay is digital. Why not use real analog delay? CoolAudio chips work great and they are analog. You can really hear the digital sound at 2:04.

Not an Analog delay! The signal goes through a digital conversion and is therefore not Analog. PT2399 is a digital chip. From the official datasheet: PT2399 is an echo audio processor IC utilizing CMOS Technology which is equipped with ADC and DAC, high sampling frequency and an internal memor...

2:45 really shows the digital quality of the Ibanez. Not my cup of tea. The A/DA is the classic and, in my opinion, the best flanger ever.
