About this user
Dr Shoshana Garfield specialises in helping severely traumatised people rediscover and heal themselves and create goodness in their lives -- in whatever form makes most sense to them, no matter how severe or long-term was the trauma or torture. Shoshana started helping people with trauma recovery more than 25 years ago when she ran date rape awareness groups at Dartmouth University.
Shoshana has worked (and continues to work) with war veterans (including SAS) who suffer from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (traumatic flashbacks) as well as with people who have been tortured by organised crime or government bodies in third world countries.
