I totally agree that this film has aged really well. If anything, it's more relevant today than it was in 1973

The mark of a truly good rendition of this piece is that it should sound 'wrong', not right. The bit which goes 'da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum-dum' isn't played on the beat, nor even on the half beat. 99% of the versions on YouTube get this bit wrong.

This was a hit everywhere but Japan. The Japanese said it sounded more Chinese.......
