@GoldenFatriver I never thought about that. Maybe the crystals worked their magic and renewed the land long enough for the water to take hold in the present. It confuses me though because the forest seemed like a better fit for the rivers and lakes.

I always found it a bit disconcerting that the man gives you Evil Crystals as a reward for playing. Who carries crystallized evil around with them anyway? I'm disturbed.
