About this user
Tony Lee has moved from cover artist to talented writer and musician. After disbanding "TonyJones", his previous configuration of musicians in mid 2003, he is now focusing on all original material and has emerged as a popular solo artist. Tony is not the typical singer-songwriter. His soaring vocals and passionate delivery border on the aerobic at times. Tony's original rock sound, coupled with inspirational lyrics, gripping guitars and solid arrangements continue to win over crowds at every venue. "I strive to write exactly what Im feeling at that particular time. I definitely believe that if a song has personal meaning, it will be delivered to the listener with uncompromised passion, whether it is the first or hundredth time it is performed." Tony's songs have been heard on local radio airwaves, as well as performed live on Clear Channel station 102.5 WDVE, including the single "Last Goodbye", a haunting song that captures the listener by creating a vision of loss and the resurrection of life, love, and memories. Frequently performing at many high profile venues, Tony has also had the opportunity to open for such diverse notables as The Monkees, Jefferson Starship, ZZ Top, Chicago, Marshall Tucker, Jeff Black and Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. While his resume grows and fan base expands, Tony is constantly writing, performing and remaining true to his musical identity.
