I got hooked on RC from a cheap 2 channel helicopter that was an impulse buy due to an extremely long layover in the Atlanta airport in 2007. RC flight is something that I always wanted to try as a kid but just was not financially possible. Since the days of that cheap little helicopter, I have amassed a nice little collection of "toys" and spent WAY too much money but I am having a blast.

I really love the scratch built foamy stuff because, once you have a nice collection of the required electronics, all you need is a little time and a little foam and you are good to go. Crashed your plane??? So what, build the next one. There is a never ending list of free plans available on the internet and some that you can buy for a few dollars.

Some people say that I am "cheating" by using the CNC to cut my foam. I say that I am using proper time management. My time is extremely limited so anything that I can do to save a little is more than welcome. Plus, it doesn't cost me a dime to use this machine.
