Despite being one of the world's leading rock bands in the 70s virtually no professionally filmed footage of PInk Floyd during their prime years of 1973-1977 has yet to surface. While there is a debate among Pink Floyd enthusiasts about how much of the Dark Side Of The Moon may or may not have been filmed in performance from the Brighton Dome in 1972 there is no debate as that outside of the recently discovered news footage of the 1975 Knebworth Festival no pro-shot concert video OR audio has yet to surface from the Wish You Were Here and In The Flesh/Animals tours from 1975-1977.
So what we are trying to achieve here is to produce as best we can a Collector's Item set that captures a major part of Pink Floyd history that is still missing in any official or commercial capacity. And live performances of Wish You Were Here and Animals from 1975-1977 should be just as much a part of our culture as Song Remains The Same from Led Zeppelin, Yessongs from Yes, and any other concert video from a classic band of the 70s.
We think you will like the results and if you are a true Pink Floyd enthusiast and would love to hear them perform live during their 70s heydays than this Collector's Item set is for you.
