Terfel has not the vocal statue to sing the god. Mostly he sings like an enraged peasant. In addition his German is faulty at times, the vowels are often sung too open and adding e's to words that end muted, like "im" becomes "im-e".

Figaro... too much "Sssssss......." and it is not "Less onero" but "Le suoneró". His italian diction definitely leaves to be desired in this one. The Don Giovanni serenata is sung horribly and without sensuality whatsoever. No girl would be seduced by such singing.

@DonPaolissimo He OPTED not to sing the A. Good choice in my opinion, I personally totally dislike the A in this aria. It sounds totally out of place. And no baritone produces the A easily, it never sounds really good. Again, just my opinion.
James Morris is a wonderful and most credible Wotan. His singing, is worthy of a god, not the mostly legato-less, ear-offending effort B.Terfel recently put on, for example.
