Kisai Optical Illusion is a limited edition touch screen wrist watch design with an optical illusion display. Available exclusively from Tokyoflash Japan:
http://www.tokyof...
The limited edition Kisai Optical Illusion watch from Tokyoflash Japan displays the time digitally through a maze of high resolution diagonal lines.
With 'an always' on LCD display, Optical Illusion is a touch screen watch with time, date mode, alarm, EL backlight and animation mode.
Like many optical illusions, it's really easy to see once you have trained your eyes. The direction of the lines in the display allow your eyes and brain to process only the lines that make up the digits to reveal the time in hours and minutes.
Even if you do find it a challenge at first, there's a reveal button on the touch screen display which shows you the time.
Kisai Optical Illusion is a stainless steel watch design available in black or silver with a natural or green display.
Featuring touch screen technology, the display has four hot zones that you can simply touch with your finger to navigate between the four main functions; time (in hours and minutes) date (month and date), alarm and EL backlight; a function which illuminates the display making it easier to read at night time. It's intuitive, simple and fun to operate.

Kisai Seven is a limited edition, USB rechargeable wrist watch with three light up animation modes available exclusively from Tokyoflash Japan: http://www.tokyof...
Two pulsating rings of light, a cool futuristic design & LEDs curving around your wrist, Kisai Seven brings an ultra-modern look to what is essentially a regular watch.
It may look unconventional, but those two rings point to the hours and minutes just like a normal wrist watch making it easy to read at a glance.
The inner ring is the hour hand and the outer ring is the minute hand. There is a dark void section in each ring that literally points to the time. The lights trailing off around the wrist are not just for show either, they help you pin down the exact minute by lighting up in segments.
The lights above & below the circles indicate 1-4 minutes. Here they are half way across so that's 2 minutes. We already know it's 9 o'clock, but to be exact, it's 9:02. Like all watches from Tokyoflash, Kisai Seven easy to read once you know how.
The watch itself has a hard plastic case which is curved to fit over your wrist. The strap section is polyurethane with a seamless butterfly clasp at the back. Adjusting the strap is quite clever. You simply cut the polyurethane strap down to size to fit your wrist perfectly. You can do this at home if you have some simple tools handy, or of course you can ask your local jewellers or watch shop to help. This means it is suitable for both small and large wrists.
Available with blue or white LEDs, each part of Kisai Seven has been individually custom designed and manufactured including the case, strap and uniquely programmed LED display. Like all watches from Tokyoflash Japan, it is a limited edition design which means it is guaranteed to be an original watch that not many other people own.
Kisai Seven lights up for 10 seconds when you press the button to reveal the time. There is a subtle pulsing effect as the light gets brighter and then fades out.
There are also three user selectable light up options to choose from:
1) Continuous: the watch pulses the time constantly.
2) Every 30 seconds: the watch lights up to show the time and fades out every 30 seconds.
3) Every 5 minutes: the watch lights up to show the time and fades out once every 5 minutes.
Or, you can turn the automatic light up feature off completely.
This watch design connects to your computer to charge via USB cable (included). A full charge takes about 3 hours & should last about a month on standard mode. The battery can be recharged more than 300 times.
If you set the continuous light-up mode the battery will drain more quickly but it's a great mode to have active when going out to a bar or club. You can of course top up the battery the following day.

Featuring a colored LCD display with touch screen technology, time, date and alarm, Kisai On Air is the fourth concept design submitted by a fan to become reality.
You can see the original concept, submitted to the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog by Iskender Asanaliev & Adilet Asanaliev, from Kyrgyzstan here: http://www.tokyof...
The limited edition Kisai On Air watch is available in four display colors each with LED backlighting. The LCD display is always on so the time can be read at a glance and the LED backlight function means it will light up on demand, a useful function for night time.
On Air's time display is minimal and intuitive. The digital numbers on the screen are the hour hand and point to the current hour in the same was as the hand on a clock. The digits on the screen are the current minutes. Reading the time couldn't be easier.
The date can be read in exactly the same way with the hand pointing to the month and the digital numbers showing the date.
On Air is made of stainless steel with a high quality brushed finish and has a mineral crystal lens. Available in silver or black, the custom made case is curved so the watch will fit your wrist perfectly.

People having been selling cheap trinkets since the dawn of mankind. If these watches actually sold for $30.00 I wouldn't be so pissed off, but after dropping $168US for one, I can assure you they aren't worth it. Buyer beware, and when it comes to Toyko Flash it couldn't be more true.
