You know, I've watched all three of these alternative endings, and I can't help feeling they were all decoys. The actresses don't seem fully engaged somehow, the segments feel "off." Of course, that could just be me projecting! :-)

I'm very glad they cut this out -- it makes Charlotte look completely superficial and she's not.

Some great stuff in this but it's based on a totally unrealistic premise. Aidan can buy and renovate 2 apartments but can't afford to rent some storage space for a few months? It's not fair to ask Carrie to throw away half her clothes, when they'll have more than enough space after the apartments...

The movie would have been so much better with more scenes like this. This is what Sex and the City fans want, not endless fashion montages.

Great scene in that you can feel Samantha's fear and frustration. Not so great scene in that it's hard to imagine Samantha going to a run-of-the-mill wig shop to begin with. She's pretty well-off apparently, so wouldn't she get something custom-made and expensive?

@johnmerritt I think it largely had to do with the fact that Aidan and Carrie were just different types; they had very different wants and lifestyles. As Samantha put it to Carrie one episode: "Honey, one word. Granola. So not you."
