Personal and Public Speech (SP151) involves the study of major elements of speech. It is intended to help students develop effective oral communication skills. Students participate in activities to develop competence in both personal and group communication.

Students learn to develop and deliver effective individual and team presentations in the classroom and professional settings. This project-based course provides maximum opportunities for students to practice and evaluate oral communication techniques. The latest trends in the use of technology to create and deliver speeches and presentations are also featured.
