About Me:
I was born in Belfast in 1994, I am pro-Ireland and pro-EU ( a difficult combonation) I am also a history and military fan.
My current BG is James Connolly, ICA commander during the Easter Rising and master mind of the 1913 Dublin Lockout. Many see him as an Irish hero, however he was actually born to Irish parents in Edinburugh. He was also not the Irish patriot that mnay believe he is, he was primarily motivated by Socialism and love for his fellow worker. History has however painted him as a Brit hating Fenian, despite his work with the English working class whilst in Britain.
Im a Socilaist (for which I can thank my Grandfather, the last Irish communist and victim of RUC brutality, not because they thought the was in the RA, Lord no, they thought some of his friends were in the RA!)

On my fathers-side, I am descended from protestant Scots. However I am a baptised Catholic, this is down to my non-Secterian great-grandather who married a Catholic and happily raised his children by the doctrine of Rome. My ancesters arrived in someone in the 17th century, and I assume they were part of the Ulster plantation, sorry lads : (

I like strategy video games, in particular the Total War series. I also play HOI II, which is rather fun if you want to play as Britain and rush to Berlin as soon as the Nazi's move into Poland.
Winning an arguement has nothing to do with having better information than your opponent, your information can be complete medically confirmable clunge!

Im trying to find a cheap copy of Machiavellis "Discoures on Livy", you may have heard of "The Prince" his most famous work on how to come to power in a medieval Italian princedom, well Livy is how to come to power in a republic, as I live in a republic and have political ambitions, it may be a wise idea for me to invest in a copy.

Socialism has never been put into practise because of impossibility of doing that. If you would like to bully people into doing something that they don't want to do you can't win. And that is why communism/socialism lost - even if some people accept slavery there will always be anothers who don't - like Polish people.
