This shot on the yellow is actually called a piqué shot - its basically a screw shot played from a vertical cue position, because of the closeness of the object ball (i.e. to aviod the push shot).

A Massé is a similar shot which curves around another intervening ball.

Both shots are in fact use...

Technically this is a pique shot not a masse

Pique is a screwback shot from up high like steve plays

A masse is a extreme swerve shot from up high - ie it would go around another ball

Nice version, and I respect others comments here - but in my opinion the original artist (Kirsty in this case) understands the song, and its my opinion that they usually sing in best. Kirsty was original - RIP my love
