Originally born on the island of Hawaii, but I've been living in Montreal for the past 8 years. I have been singing and writing songs for even longer, from the age of 11, with over 80 songs to date.

I'm a self-taught singer/songwriter/musician. Although I am - as of yet - unheard of, I am also in this for the long-haul.

I have also been blessed to have two other talented artists join me in my musical aspirations and who have both brought so much more to my music than I ever thought possible: My best friend and partner (in crime) ;-) France Lynda - and who just so happens to be my mom! - has been doing backvocals with me for over a year now. What started as simple and just-for-fun duets with her when I was younger resurfaced for the both of us last year, and since then, it has been a joy for me to be able to harmonize with someone who understands my voice & songs like she does.

Now, on to Lieshbet Kanale, (youtube.com/lieshwolf) my almost 14 yr. old brother picked up the guitar and began composing songs last year too (what's up with last year?). He gets better & better every day, and the depth of his lyrics, the types of melodies he creates - which I am surprised to say, are very original and different from my own - make me very proud to be his sister.

I am overjoyed to be so well surrounded by people I love so much - and who are also artists themselves! ***If we become a trio, band-name suggestions are welcome!! ;-D

Obviously, for me, music is endless, with millions of ways to portray human emotions, personal moments, and life's ups and downs. For me, music is my core; it's what holds me together when life is tearing me apart, What makes sense when nothing else does, and what reminds me of who I truly am, deep down, in times when I have so easily forgotten. I hope, by sharing some of my music here, that I can give a little bit of that feeling, that sense of belonging, to someone else . . .
