Artist's comments: Unlike many of the cross-overs I'm going to make, this kind of cross-over game actually exists. Touhouvania is far more than a Castlevania rip-off. It features Reimu as the playable character, Marisa and Cirno as summon magic. Reimu's staff/whip (can't remember the exact name) is her main weapon, cards are her second, which need some kind of energy similar to Castlevania's hearts. The game features enemies from both franchises, skeletons, werewolves and fairies for example. It runs extremely smooth, difficulty is similar to Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, in fact a bit harder. I personally wasn't able to beat Sakuya (the second time, close before fighting Remilia), I probably would if I'd try harder though. For Remilia (Dracula's equivalent)...I'm not so sure...
The music sadly hasn't anything to do with the themes of any of the franchises, no Vampire Killer (or at least barely recognizable), no U.N. Owen was her. It sounds like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night music, though. The Touhou characters got a gothic makeover as you can see, they look really badass, especially Meiling. Although Cirno still looks like a baka. The video was the demo version, since I thought that would fit for a demonstration. The demo was stage 3 with the stage's boss Sakuya Izayoi. They have a conversation before the fight in the full version. The full version is available in the languages Japanese, English and French. I've also heard that they released Touhouvania 2 (where you play as Sakuya) some time ago...
So this song is something I would have liked to hear in-game. A cross-over of themes from both franchises, in this particular case U.N. Owen was her? and Wicked Child. I'm not sure what really defines Castlevania, since it had soooo many different composers. I decided to go with some synths, a piano, horns, a harpsichord, strings, an organ, small bells and clocktower bells.

Now, the hype.
Yes, since when I heard WAVE was releasing 2 new orchestral albums in this comiket I've been restless, and have been searching everywhere for them, no such luck though. Thankfully we have friends who actually have visited the Comiket and actually bought the albums themselves (a big thank you to Moomar again).
The albums are really mindblowing, in fact I recommend everyone to go listen to both of them many times, you'll be mindblown, have orgasms and everything else. In fact, here's another sample for you to indulge in:

To be completely honest I have no words that will do these two songs justice, absolutely none.
But, god, guys, THOSE TRUMPETS.
In fact, I have nothing to say about the whole albums, really, this is something you just have to experience yourselves. But please do expect future uploads from this album. And of course, the next video is video 200.
