Time to Lead! is a collaborative campaign from Climate Action Network Europe, Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and WWF.
It aims to highlight the importance of the actions of Europe's leaders over the coming months for the fight against climate change.
Europe has repeatedly committed to policies aimed at keeping global warming below 2 degrees Celcius to avoid the most catastrophic impacts of climate change.
Time to Lead! thinks this means Europe must commit to:
- at least 30% carbon emissions cuts by 2020;
AND
- additional finance for developing countries to cut their emissions
We are calling on MEPs and environment ministers around Europe to lead the world in keeping global warming below 2 degrees Celcius.

The Earth has given us so much, but we've reached a point where without drastic, immediate action,...she'll stop giving, and start taking things away.
