@seanrafferty100 I'm with you there accept for Oasis, for other great 90's bands check Inspiral Carpets,Ride,Lush,Curve,My Bloody Valentine,Senser,The Levellers,Pop Will Eat Itself, Neds Atomic Dustbin,Wonderstuff.... ah wait the list is endless.

Look anyone in USA who knows music knows the Brits had some great bands, also anyone in the U.K. who knows music knows the U.S. had some great bands.... and now TODAY we both have to put up with this X factor Shite so quit the arguing.

If only this was out in 94/95 and playing at Space Hopper Birmingham :)

@gamblers13 This is not a remake of Seven Samurai its a remake of the 1963 movie of the same name, which was based on real events during the Tokugawa shogunate.

Maybe C4 were peed that Nirvana played a different track but they recorded a great moment in history with one of the best live performances by Nirvana. TBH i don't think C4 were that bothered what they played.

Ride just made it all look so easy.

Ride should have been huge and its a embarrassment to this country that they were not, but still some of us discovered them and they will for ever be a part of us.

Great movie, Kyoko Fukada was even better in kamikaze Girls..... arrrgh gotta get this tune out of my head now i watched this.

It sounds dated but this is class.

This was ok though I prefer when the last sword is drawn much more.

I think some people need to remember this movie is nearly 20 years old now, well ahead of its time.

It ain't easy to find mind, Me & my mate got on the guest list on our first night in Tokyo by DJ Aki he does a Drum and Bass night there and it was a bitch to find, though ask around and you'll get there eventually. I remember seeing them in 91 supporting Lush and they rocked.

Slowdive got Branded as Shoegaze and if you saw them live the came over as shoegaze but really they have their own unique sound & style. They most certainly are not EMO.

My 2nd favourite Lush track after Ocean, haunting vocals might be some sea thing going on there since Miki & Emma could both pass as Sirens.

Stage dive into the audience would M.Jackson have done that... no rock on DM !!D.Gahan one of the most entertaining front person of all time.

Its strange that in Japan Kitano is mostly viewed as just a old comedian and his movies are mostly Ignored, But by Western people in the know its reversed.

@ElBraineater666 I don't think people hate Tarantino but he's given far too much credit by people who know very little.

@foxdie126 I sort of agree but disagree if you read any history from any country you will read the same story's of honor and self sacrifice. I have read lots of books on Oda Nobunaga & co, Napoleon,Wellington,Nelson & medieval history etc and lots of soldiers would give their lives at the command...

I loved lots of bands in the early 90's Ride, Lush etc I hade a few ep's of the Telescopes and one album. the more I find tracks like this which I never knew at the time, the more I think they might have been the best band of this period.

@Dangarus1 I'm with you there. Oasis weren't bad, they were just in the right place at the right time.

@acidxtasy999 Yup the US did have some great punk bands too. I love the dead Kennedys.
