I am an American, I'm Jewish and I'm proud to call myself an American. My family fled the soviet union in the 1970s to come to this country for a better life. I have an interest in the culture that stemmed from the suppressive environment of that country during that era. However that is as deep as my allegiance to russia goes. Russia sickens me, I hate the soviet union, I hate communists, I hate islamofascists. Hate is a strong word and is very appropriate.

I find it disturbing how modern day russian citizens are able to so quickly put aside the past of their secret police, the kgb and attempt to call attention to Americas fault. Millions of people died at the hands of stalin and his secret police, millions of people died in the following years after stalin in soviet russia. That is not something they investigate intelligently.
Some of them even praise stalin which I find utterly disturbing.
