Formed by Giammarco and Midyette in March of 2011 TA's unique sound is a mix of early 90's alternative hard rock and 60's melodic classic rock. They are an eclectic mix of their influences which range from Elvis Presley to Alice In Chains, from The Beatles to Live. The band recorded 4 demo tracks over the summer of 2011: "Tiger", "Get Away", "Who Needs It All", and "Hello" as they finalized their official line-up. During this time the demos made their way around via social networks and Internet radio sites and began to garner a lot of attention, especially in South America and Europe in addition to the US. TA has developed a loyal following in countries like Brazil, Venezuela, Greece, and Germany where they've been featured multiple times on CU Radio Germany's "Star Club" Rock Show. Directly because of these fan bases TA was able to finish 3rd out of 84 bands in the "Best Buy Battle of the Bands" this past July. They also finished in the Top 150 bands overall venues which featured thousands of bands. Encouraged by this the band is feverishly practicing to get ready for live shows and are working on their debut studio album. TA was the featured artist for August on "An Underground Mainstream" and were interviewed by LeeAnn Hively-Insalaco, when asked what he wanted people to envision when they heard the name "Those Alone" Lead Vocalist Michael Giammarco stated "A light in the darkness, I hope we can be seen as real and uncompromising. I think the two words that describe us and our sound the best would be power and pain. That's the essence of our music, power and pain."
