@elhatmiyh 2.49 was good, but its python support wasnt fully there and its frame work needed touchup, this was proven with how well 2.5 and 2.6 did, especially how smooth they are

is RTV1 an uncompressed file type? or compressed? i know MJPEG records AVI which is uncompressed so its god awful huge

never tried making a bow before... how did you lay out the form? it looks rather simple in the long run, but things tend to get complicated last minute. did you steam the wood for the form also? and then stencil out the shape, and screw it into the shape of the form?

@KibzAfterlife shut up, people hate people like this cuz half the time you spawn there and get spawn killed by your own guy. i like the whole, its just a game thing, but could you argue a point more legitimate, like allowing snipers to play without being total noobs just for playing sniper lol

1, yes and no, many of the tools are used DIFFERENTLY and are easier to use

2, photo shop is faster than gimp, by a long shot, why, because you spending 600 allows them to pay to make better frame work

3, ur kidding me right, PS usis a Push Pull method of click and drag where gimp use...

@dulyanddo im sorry, lol, im running 10gb ram, 3.9ghz quad core and a 6970 OCd to core 955, mem 1450. and i slow from 50-60 fps in bf3 down to 5-25. it has very little to do if youre computer is good enough, its the Cache size

@zmultrin really? dual booting is going into your bios and giving multiple locations for operating systems, allowing you on boot to chose which operating system you would like to run at that time, thats what it comes down to mostely, theres a bit more here and there but you get my point atl east

@KaydaraAnimator im guessing hes using multi GPUs, you also have to remember, if you sub div somthing it is going to load faster than modeling it out, he has a mid poly model and is subing it, look carfully at the hair. agreed, it is impressive, but you could pull it off 2 with the right ballence

@WarriorPhoenixMedia infact, i have maya, 3ds, inventor, mudbox, although blender is slower, it is by far the highest quality and easiest to use in most cases in my personal opinion

@Devin6gw yes and no, if you download it without python, and note the version, because it matters, if you download WITHOUT PYTHON you will not be able to use the greater portion of the scripts due to the fact that it is using its own internal c++ and python integrated versions

in a newer version of pydev and eclipse i have to personaly tell it to create a/an src file. it will not do it on its own
