I love the videos, but you said something in this one and you didn't explain it and now I'm super curious. It's not a big deal, but you said the rudiments are divided into three sections and harmony is divided into another three. I was curious how these are usually divided up.

@circusboy90210 Police are allowed to temporarily detain an individual when there's suspicion of a crime. This includes ordering the individual out of the car. While I agree the hand cuffing may have been a bit unnecessary, I'm assuming this would be allowed for the safety of the officer involved...

@Frowardkiller Generally a Judge will not overlook a law because the lawyers are going to bring all the relevant law to their attention. At least, they should if they want to win the case. He seemed pretty nice and reasonable to me. He caught you going 20mph over the limit and stopped you. He asked for your phone number, but he didn't argue when you declined and he told you it was just a request. It doesn't seem like much of a lie. You're really reaching here to try to make a point...

@crash8088 Exercising your 4th amendment rights is not probable cause, but I believe the video poster said a drug sniffing dog indicated there were drugs in the car, and unfortunately that does amount to probable cause. If that was the case, then the search was legal.

The ridiculous thing about this video is that a simple google search for "common law" or "Uniform Commercial Code" will show anybody that the information in this vid is completely bogus, but for some reason people are still buying into it. @Psy0psAgent But Common Law is still a concept, or a fiction as you call it. Common Law was developed by Judges in courtrooms. @Princetonbeats I was just explaining how the system worked. You seemed to be under the impression that people would only pass laws if they could make themselves exempt from following them. The people who pass laws have to obey them just like everybody else. No exceptions.

@Pulsationz It is a sideline law. I would love to hear what you think common law is and how it gets formed, because from what I can tell you don't even know what YOU think common law is.

@TheCaptainSlappy That's common law alright. It's not created by statute, and develops in the courtrooms as a result of judicial opinions. If you want an example, you should research tort law, specifically negligence, which has it's roots in common law. It was developed almost entirely in the cou...
