I have an HV30, with 35 mm adapter... and an XL1.. I like the XL1 better. It's a matter of opinion. If you have something great to film then it really doesn't matter what type of camera you film on anyways, this is mostly menial crap.

I'm pretty sure the finale of Breaking the Waves used cgi, and I'm positive Antichrist used cgi. Trier just uses the effects very well..
