5oodness. There is so much to tell! Professionally- For about 10 years now I have been singing and entertaining performing my energetic one woman variety shows. They are full of costume changes and music from several eras. Because I absolutely LOVE 40's music (yes, well before my time:o) and senior citizens, I began singing here in the St. Louis area for nursing homes and assisted living/retirement communities. Though I have branched out into a few other types of venues in the area I haven't had the opportunity (yet) to expand my horizons. Sadly too, much of my fan base is now 6 ft. under!
It's time for me to devote the time to learn social media networking and get this You Tube, My Space, Facebook, Twitter, blogging stuff under my belt. I need a breathing following! If you are breathing please subscribe to my channel:o) While feeding the spirit, nursing homes don't feed my kids or pay the bills very well. It's time to reach higher and try to get better recognition. While it's been enjoyable, I have truly put a large portion of my time entertaning for low budget places.
