@cybrough — regarding the 'observer effect' that you refer to, the act of 'observing' is a physical act. We cannot see atoms/electrons/photons/etc. with our naked eyes, so we require instruments to do this for us — it is these that 'observe', and in doing so — in that very physical act of measuring — can influence what they seek to measure. The mystic-minded claim that it is a matter of human consciousness — if that were so, then we could quickly produce some significant statistics for it using control groups. Organise two groups, situated in a remote building, getting a live feed of the results:
—group a watch the results and so are aware of them
—group b face away from the results, so are unaware of them
If it's a matter of human awareness the results will be different. If it's instead due to the physical processes of the measuring equipment — and it hasn't yet been shown to be anything other than this — results would be expected to be the same in both groups.

In response to you video about universal consciousness: Im not a scientist, but I have been doing some reading on quantum mechanics and consciousness as it might relate to God. As I understand it, and please correct me, all things have mass and all mass is made up of atoms and all atoms have electrons. Electrons seem to appear as waves on one hand and as particles on the other, depending upon if they are being observed or not. That is, electrons seem to be a wave when unobserved but as a particle when observed. That raises two questions in my mind: are electrons self aware, that is: are they aware of the observation? Or does our conscious awareness of the electron change the electrons appearance? If electrons have awareness, could that awareness be God? If our consciousness has the power to effect electrons what is the source and extent of that power...could that be the divine in each of us and in all things; a universal consciousness?

The primary criticism I have with my fellow atheists is that they, in my experience anyway, are far too often willing to speak condescendingly and rudely, which only serves to propagate the widely held idea of the arrogant atheist. I just wanted to say thanks for the way you conduct yourself in a positive manner, as well as the high quality of content in your videos.

You probably get this a lot, but I really enjoy your videos because the way you present your arguments are clear-cut and easy to understand. I always want to point out certain fallacies when it comes to supernatural beliefs, but sometimes I have trouble presenting it so I end up confusing people, lol.
