About Me:
Pulsar is a French progressive rock band formed in the early 70 in Lyon, France.
They met their audience with their first album : Pollen.
30 years ago Pulsar was acclaimed as the French progressive rock band:
"They were as when dear Syd was with Floyd; very enjoyable." - Melody Maker
But their real succes was with "Halloween", released in 1977
In March 2007, Goldmine Magazine (biggest record collector's magazine in the world) once again rewarded Halloween as one of the top 25 progressive album of all time.
What happened to Pulsar since the blessed years of symphonic prog rock music ?
Each member of the group achieved its own professionnal way !
But, it's happened! Pulsar is back with its new release: Memory Ashes.

Hi, Pulsar band! I was at your Pollen show in Lisbon, around 1975! You rocked a bunch of kid's worlds that night. We never got tired of listening to Pollen again and again, and it was just great to see you playing. Kids were so excited that night, that it was a riot among the audience w/ lots of punching ans kicking, but it stopped when you started playing :) I guess that a good amount of non prog bands have Pulsar influences. Come back soon! I promise we'll not fight this time! :)
