I'm not 48 though... woops. Anyways.
Music, Poetry, Pottery, Welding, and things like that appeal to me a lot, they seem like a lot of fun, except I have no artistic talents. Anyways, if you know what these are I play a Bassoon, which is basically a giant clarinet, except a lot more complicated; And I play Electric Bass for my schools Jazz band and recreational purposes. I am also picking up Sousaphone/Contra Bass Bugle (Marching tuba, it wraps around the body) for my high school's marching band.
