After recording, touring and writing with indie rock bands Mirrorkicks, The Medicine and TreeHeartStone, Ed Pereira is now working as a solo artist based in South West London.

Continuing collaborative works with musicians, artists, film makers and in choreographers there is still time to get in the studio, write and perform songs live it seems..

Ed describes the sound of his music as 'a nursery rhyme pop connection with elements of melancholy, anger, humour and other oddities'. or a bloke with a guitar on stage

'Bands and artists that really inspired me were ones who were talking about their frustration in situations surrounding them. From a lyrical standpont i'd always been more interested in acts such as Manic Street Preachers, Bob Marley, The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Pearl Jam for managing to broach subjects of personal, domestic and global concern with sincerity and intelligence whilst delivering these messages in powerful, beautiful and haunting songs. I just want to honour that tradition in my own way and hopefully make other people happy whilst doing it.'
