About this user
We are like the Machinima of small gaming channels. What we do, and our selection processes, is very complex. We have two main directors. What we do, is read through the applications that we receive by gamers. Then, we watch their videos, and determine whether or not they have the criteria to be featured on our channel. Then, if we like what we see, we will upload that person's gameplay and commentary to our channel. We will make one of two decisions, based on the comments to the video, the like:dislike ratio, and our general satisfaction with the video. These decisions include whether or not to have the person featured on our channel again and whether or not we partner up with them. There will be various ranks of partners to our channel. The lowest rank partner, a P3 parter, is only allowed to upload content when we request it, and can also help us decide on which applications to approve. A P2 parter, which is higher in rank, is allowed to have their own series, with episodes published once every two weeks, when approved by us, as well as everything else that a P3 partner is allowed to do. Then, there is a P1 partner. P1 partners are allowed to upload gameplays and commentaries after we approve, on a regular basis. They are also allowed to have their own series if they wish, to put episodes out once a week. They are also allowed to to the same things as P2 and P3 partners. Then, there are directors. Directors have pretty much the same status at the creators of GamersConnect. To become a director, you must work your way up from a P3 partner to a P1 partner. Then, after 20 videos are put out as a P1 partner, a video will be posted by the two lead directors, the creators of this website and channel, asking for a general poll. In this video, we will ask the subscribers whether or not they think that the recommended P1 partner can be upgraded to a Director. If the P1 partner revieves the amount of votes equivalent to half of the number of subscribers we have at that time, they will become a Director. For example, if we have 1000 subscribers, and they receive 500 or more votes, they will become a director. Directors are allowed to moderate and edit the website, and can upload gameplays and other content willingly. They are also allowed to have personal videos not related to video games, and can pretty much do anything, with the permission of the Head Directors (the creators of GamersConnect).
