Donna's song... yay! The video is meant to be sort of Donna dreaming...
Donna's head is full of daytime telly, magazines, chips and the kind of men who would dump her for large carnivorous spiders. She thinks nothing ever happened and no one ever noticed... but as she sleeps through a rainstorm, outside her Grandad Wilf watches a man called The Doctor leave. A man who knew Donna was brilliant. As she sleeps Donna dreams of him and a universe that she has forgotten and the storm passes...
The song is about Donna, but because she'll spontaneously combust if she remembers, is done from the point of view of the two most important men in her life; the Doctor and her Grandad Wilf, who I've sort of decided is the kind of Grandad who always has cake, WWII stories and follows the West Wing line of ' what ever you do, don't mess with the grandchildren; we were here before you and they'll be here after you'.

Rose's song! YAY!
Rose Tyler is bored. Then she meets a man called the Doctor, who takes her hand and shows her the turn of the Earth. And, as they travel across time and space, Rose begins to change; she becomes less human and more like the Doctor, more alien. They then get seperated in parrallel universes and Rose is alone again. But then using everything shes learnt from the Doctor and remembering she had the TARDIS vortex running through her head ( everyone still with me...yes?... good...) she realises that she can, every now and then, see what the Doctor sees; all of space and time, all that was, all that is, all that ever could be.... Intended (hopefully) to be all about growing up and Rose learning to live her life even though the Doctor's gone.... ... oh yes.... and of course, Tennant looks cute... :-) ... and Eccleston IS the Second coming...

A new fan's lovesong to the old series. About how without the old series the new one wouldn't have been so good and I wouldn't love it so much... :-) ...Bluemeany's attempt to, in some small way, fill the yawning TARDIS-shaped void between now and Christmas.
The video is basically meant to be like a TARDIS ride, with the Tenth Doctor taking you and Martha on a trip, collecting the other nine Doctors, before time explodes and the TARDIS accelerates to the end of the Universe where the Doctor picks up Jack and the Master attempts to steal the TARDIS... all done to the sound of U2's Window in the Skies...mmm... yes... now I've summarised it, its sounds a bit insane... still... :-)
Big thanks to Angelikeswho for some of the 4th Doctor footage,MLHeathen and to aloocin42 girl for sending me her lovely 5th Doctor videos...

One Universe. Two Timelords. Four minutes of destruction, loneliness and (hopefully) epic- fun all set to the soothing tones of Muse's 'New Born' :-)
Goes in a sort of chronological order from the end of Utopia, through Sound of Drums until the end of Last of the Timelords.
Meant to be about quite a lot of stuff; the Timewar, family and home, the vortex, how they're both all powerful/ vengeful, how they can see the whole of time and space etc, but alternatively if none of this comes across there's still the Squeefest that is David Tennant and John Simm... :-)

Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are-... what?...that's their names... yes, like as in Waterloo... yes, and they are international agents working for U.N.C.L.E against the dastardly forces of THRUSH (you're smirking!).
WATCH, as the duo does battle with their most warped adversary yet- The Fan Girl. GASP, as, despite her best attempts to push them towards the precipice of corny slash (I picked Sonny and Cher, I really did try), our heroes demand that their relationship and love (aaaaaaah) be taken seriously.
I've did my thesis recently and I think it sent me a bit...odd... So here's Bluemeany's latest offering... 1960's Gay Slash! Yay! Fortunately I can shift the blame for my geekiness on to my David McCallum- obsessed sister who requested it. Normal Doctor Who service will hopefully resume soon... (sorry)

Dreamybluemeany was upset/unnerved after the end of Assignment six, so....This is for her and this is what happens after :-)
Trapped in Infinity, Steel searches vainly for Sapphire. He finds what may or may not be the real Sapphire in a sort of Underworld and together they decided to get the other Elements and fight back against The Higher Authority/ The Darkness/ God/ Time/ Other ( circle preference). They lose, everyone dies ( happy- no?) and Steel ends up trapped again, or perhaps he was always trapped, never found Sapphire and The Thing was just playing with him... :)
It's sort of based on two books I've read; The first is the Children's Cartoon Book of Greek Myths, in which, I swear, Orephus looked like David McCallum, or at least in my memory of it; in that he was sort of sullen and pale, although that might have been because he was traveling through the Land of the Dead now I come to think of it- but anyway.... :)
I've used the Orpheus/ Eurydice story as a sort of a guideline.... The second book is The Ground Beneath Her Feet, by Salman Rushdie ( hence the song) which uses the Orpheus/ Eurydice as a sort of a mirror story thread and which I am currently reading with Steel as Ormus, Sapphire and Vina and Silver as Umeed.... if that helps anyone follow this confused video I've made... then Yay! but this is Sapphire and Steel so understanding everything or indeed anything is not crucial. I had a lot of fun playing anyway.

Peter Carter, a RAF pilot jumps without his parachute, yet because of a low fog across the channel, the angels miss him. In his extra day on earth he falls in love with June, so when an angel comes to take him back to heaven where he belongs he refuses to leave her and demands a re-trial.
Everything in colour is "our world" and everything in black and white is "heaven" This was Powell and Pressburger's last movie of their war service. Made in 1946 it's about (among other things) survivior guilt and how to build a future after the war, as well as about the individuals' relationship to the state. It's a nigh on perfect film- it's inventive, different and never fails to absolutly devastate me every single time I watch it.
I think possibly the reason why I sob from beginning to end is because it reminds me of my grandparents, (who are still going strong after 64 years of marriage) and all their hopes and dreams for the future are them planning on building my world and my parents world, so i have a vested interest in the outcome of the trial. Watching in 2008 I can look back over the sixty or so years and see what they would be missing. Either that or im just a big sap :)
The song is 'Angels' by Robbie Williams. The film is 'A Matter of Life and Death' or 'Stairway to Heaven' if you're American.
