Mozart was greater than Beethoven. Chopin certainly was not the 'papa' of both of them as he was born in 1810 and as a result he became Beethoven's contemporary in his final years. Mozart died in 1791 so I don't know what you're on about there. Beethoven took his influences from a few, but primarily from Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Mozart - the two other prominent classical-era composers.
