The power to weight is almost identical at 6.8 lbs/RWHP - this is why they are evenly matched at lower speeds. BTW, the RX-7 would also pull a a Cobra from a dig due to better traction (they don't sit & spin thier tires due to too much low end torque). The RX-7 also pulls away harder as speed inc...
