I have always been a Burt Bacharach fan. It must have been fate that he hooked up with A&M Records, because I have also always loved the Carpenters and Herb Alpert's trumpet playing. They all go together so well. The Carpenters playing Bacharach/David's "Close to You". Herb Alpert playing Bacharach/David's "To Wait For Love", "This Guy's in Love With You", etc. The world is a circle....
