After attending the Roosevelt school of performing arts in Milwaukee, WI Nicholas Demps also known as The World Famous N.I.C followed his father, a jazz DJ and radio personality to work. It was there a seed was planted to become an entertainer and DJ. At the same time he was introduced to a group of individuals that allowed him to see how far his passion would eventually take him. At the time Nicholas was too young to actually join the group but he tagged along with his sister, an official member. In the meantime Nicholas focused on his craft and showmanship by DJing at local block parties. That group ultimately went on to become the Grammy award winning, Arrested Development! This left Nicholas with a taste of the success that was sure to come.
As a teenager Nicholas moved to California and set his sight more on sports. But when approached by a top-modeling agent for representation, his passion was quickly redirected. The doors of opportunity were open for him to achieve his true calling. Nicholas quickly went on to land major national modeling campaigns with clients such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, and G.Q. He also worked along side top photographers and models like Bruce Webber, Dewey Nicks and Tyra Banks.
A multi-faceted entertainer, and more than a handsome face, Nicholas took the acting world by storm. Starring in featured roles on television shows such as, In The House, Moesha, The Parkers and Sister/Sister and with recurring roles on General Hospital and All About Us. Currently Nicholas latest project is an award winning independent film titled, Truth Hall. Set to premiere on B.E.T. in April of 2010.
Never losing his passion for music, and the art of DJing. Nicholas A.K.A. The World Famous N.I.C was signed to a major recording contract in 2000. And as a member of B.M.I. has written and composed songs for television shows, that include City of Angeles and Passions. He is set to headline a tour Djing across Canada in late 2009/2010. In the field of music Nicholas has been blessed to work along side legendary artist LL Cool J, Missy Elliott and Brandy. Currently he can also be found DJing in some of Hollywoods premiere venues as well as appearing as a featured DJ in national commercials for McDonalds and Sunkist.
As you can see Nicholas is a seasoned professional that has been confidently flying under the radar. With his long list of accomplishment and concrete list of achievements he is sure to be the new face of Hollywood and a force to be reckoned with in every area of entertainment.
