You can get very good semi-professional mics for about 70 bucks, [good enough that you can barely hear sound quality difference to professional mics, also because youtube messes up this high quality anyway...]
I got those: behringer c2 and they make perfect stereo recording ^^
Although an external mixer is recommended [like a tascam us-122/144]]
