My one problem with the GM Volt is that it only has a 40 mile range on Li-Ion batteries, the EV1 had a 60 mile range on Lead Acid, which are 150 year old tech, and the Nissian Leaf has a 100 mile range on Li-Ion. They gave it a 40 mile range as it was the smallest range that was still justifiable...
