Canadian born Singer, Songwriter and Acoustic guitar lover Kali, First began her Entertainment career,as a Dancer in strip clubs starting back in 1998 after her child's father was murdered and was she was forced to financially support her family on her own. She always loved music from a young age having 9 siblings and a broken home,her father would drown his sorrows to Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. Visiting with her mother she listened to Dolly Parton and Barbara Streisand. Her older brothers influenced her taste in music with bands like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Pink floyed and the Doors, her oldest brother introduced her to Prince. Kali loved how Prince totally Rocked out with the best of them. Madonna was also a big musical influence at the time. Kali began to discover music on her own in the 90's with bands like Guns and Roses, Whitesnake, Mettalica, Motley Crue, Poison, and Skid Row. When Aerosmith's Permanant Vacation Album came out, she decided that they would be her favorite Band of all time. And she has the Tattoo to prove it. As well as the many other tattoos that all have meaning. Kali is also a certified Yoga Teacher, she also has her level 2 Reiki certificate. She is a intuitive psychic and medium and she reads the Tarot. As Kali struggled through grief and loss she suffered though addiction and Mental Health issues. She took a 5 year break from dancing and got clean. However she is a very big supporter of the legalization of marijuana. Kali always wanted to learn guitar. She wrote songs with her younger brother during public school recess. Songs they still remember and laugh about today. Kali eventually did go back to dancing to leave her more time to be with her 2 children. Although she struggled through Major Depression and Panic disorder and a bad relationship. In 2010 she decided to take the guitar seriously and 2 and a half years later she has already realeased her Two first singles Feel the Pain and Please God, Now available for download on cdbaby, itunes, amazon, and most online music stores. She now spends her time listening to Ben Harper, John Mayer, Kidrock and Willie and Dolly. Kali's songs reflect her life and her heartache and struggles through mental illness, loss and Pain. Writing the album has been very therapeutic. She hopes to one day make enough income from her music to afford basic food and shelter,one day help others through music, Yoga and Meditation.
