This may sound a bit over the top but before I was deployed to my second tour in Iraq, I reunited with "the girl who got away' and we hit it off. She stood by me while I was gone for 13 1/2 month. There were times when she wouldn't hear from me for months at a time. It was a rough tour but I made it back and I've been with her for 4 1/2 years now. When i first heard this song, it just reminded me of everything I felt and went through with her. Now when I hear this song I remember what we both went through and what we have evolved into. You're awesome and i am glad to know that there is still great musicians such as yourself in the world.
