@YellowMangerCalling Mike D and Steve Fossen were fired a few years after this clip was made. The relationship between Mike and Nancy went sour, who knows why, but dating band members rarely ever works out.

Lighten up people..even Lovesheart understood I was joking. This is from the early 80's, not 70's.

@mrsB2710 They do sound very much alike, the major difference being Ann is much louder. On a song like this, the vocal volume doesn't matter as much as, for example, Never.

Ann always sings with the mic very close to her mouth.

@lovesheart "Straight On" is from this same concert as well. Easily the best performance of Heart I have watched...if there was one concert I could attend it would be this one.

@NaYarB04 A post many pages back suggested the Wilson's didn't use their sexuality as part of their stage presence. Ann herself in interviews has stated their shows were sexual...just in a more reserved way, unlike what we are used to today.

@156sbr Sorry, Heart were in Van on Feb 28th. They are touring with Def Leppard this summer, although I am not sure if they will hit Canada or not.

Worst video ever? Not a chance. I grew up in the 80s and there were much worse videos than this. The fact I can't find most of them on you tube is a good thing.

@FrostmourneFK Yeah, he was with Nancy for a short period before he was booted out of the band.

In the past Ann always did most of the speaking, and was the face of the group for the first 10 years or so. After the video era hit Nancy's appearance increased her popularity and both Wilsons were recognized equally as Heart.

Well that looks a hell of a lot more fun than playing with the 40 hp outboard I am used to.

Tiffany has no last name because she was a second rate pop star from the 80's., and the director is expecting the audience to recognize her by her stage name..which isn't really that smart since I highly doubt the 40ish crowd is going to be watching this stuff anyway.

Yeah, it is during the daytime. And as far as the striped outfit Ann is wearing, she liked that style for the first few years of the 80's. I actually don't mind this one, but that other multi colored thing she wore a bit later looked like someone went nuts with crayolas.

Using a power sucking Th400 is not a great idea, and a powerglide is an even worse plan. Th350 is fine and takes less power to turn.

The are doing fine. Solid career of almost 40 years, every show is sold out, and they are greatly respected not only by fans but most rock bands in the industry. Rush is a top rated band, just not popular with the media (Rolling Stone, etc..) so it is easy to dismiss how big they are.

Heart on their first 4 albums were anything but generic. They had songs that were all over the map in terms of sound and that made them very interesting. Early 80's had a few good moments, but were much more formulated...a little too much Wilson control at that time.

@stillif Song is "Hold on Tight" by ELO, or Electric Light Orchestra. Ad says coffee calms you down so you can get on with your day..yeah right. One big cup of Tim Horton's and I am jacked for hours, beating on my drums like the Heart video at the very end of this clip.

One clip is from the Exit Stage Left tour (Alex wearing red jacket) and other is from A Show of Hands with the red balloons. Geddy's hair differences is a dead give away was well.
