Russell Skeet and Al Flamand. They are "The Weekend Angler".

Russ and Al are two everyday guys who have a deep passion for fishing and like most fishermen are only too happy to tell you all about their latest adventure. They're also more than happy to share all they've learned over the years. Even their secrets!

Whether you're an old hand at flinging a line. Or brand new to the sport. Al & Russ bring their adventures into your home like a couple of old friends who come over to tell you all about their latest trip.

Just like you they both have day jobs outside of fishing. Russ is a sportscaster and Al is a journeyman carpenter. Like you they only get to fish on weekends and holidays. They use the same fishing gear that you probably use. They don't have big fancy boats or expensive rods and reels. But they catch fish. And want you to catch fish too!

They invite you to join in on the fun. Maybe learn a thing or two about catching fish, what kind of equipment works best, where to fish, the best times of year to fish, or even how to lure in a finicky lunker when they're not biting. These two fish year round.

Al and Russ will show you what works, where it works, and why. All in plain terms. No mumbo-jumbo. They want to share their passion for fishing and share the knowledge that's taken them many years and thousands of miles to learn and pass that knowledge on to you so you can have the same kind of fun and maybe be more successful next time you hit the water.
