YO, WASSUP DAWG? hah. I love to airsoft with my friends. It's really fun. currently starting from June 7th, 09 I have the following guns. An M5 that goes 300 fps.
Walther P99 goes 310 fps.
A Sig sauer that goes 315 fps.
and an Aftermath Kirenex (M4 Carbine) that goes around 380 fps.

Here is how to do the poor man's chrono. Get a empty soda can and your gun. shoot your gun through the can really close. from 0-6 inches away from the soda can. now shoot it. here are the "results."

ONE SIDE 290 to 310fps
BOTH SIDES 350 to 370fps
BOTTOM (CENTRAL) 420 to 450fps
BOTTOM (EDGE) 450 to 480fps
TOP (EDGE) 480 to 510fps
TOP (CENTRAL) 520 to 540fps This is with .2g BB's
