In the beginning a highly sophisticated, inherently complex, omnipotent, omniscient 'Diety' got so bored He decided to create everything. And in this everything, He created a planet called Earth upon which He created all life, but left really confusing natural records for the later, more intelligent mammals to ponder over. Realizing His dilemma, He gave a few shepards in the desert the story of how it all came to be using the well known method of a burning bush up high on a mountain amongst other medieval media, and leaving it upto them to intrepret. And everything went smoothly ever since.
