About Me:
This is a spirituality channel centered around Wicca and Witchcraft, while incorporating elements of Zen Buddhism, and Christianity (as well as my own personal beliefs). Please feel free to introduce yourself, message me or ask questions/leave comments. I love making new friends. :)
My history...
I was born and grew up in Ontario, Canada. I have two loving parents, a sister and a wonderful extended family too. I am both a country AND city girl at heart because I really do see beauty everywhere I am willing to find it. I was raised Anglican, which is a denomination of Christianity. I very much love beautiful old churches, stained glass windows and enjoyed being a "server" during services and singing in the choir when I was younger. I am from a very open-minded family and was encouraged to explore other religions too. In my teens I discovered Zen Buddhism and Wicca, which I still study and practice elements of today. My dad really likes Celtic Christianity and so do I. As far as Wicca/Paganism is concerned, I identify with the Celtic pantheon the most, particularly Brigid. I currently label myself as "spiritual." I celebrate the 8 Wiccan Sabbats and my favourite Christian special days when I was growing up were Trinity Sunday, Palm Sunday, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Lent (although not a "day") and Easter. I am very much considering dedicating myself to Wicca and so I've been studying and practicing it a lot. I live with my loving Atheist boyfriend of 6 years in Toronto with our pets. I love getting together with friends, reading, nature, meditating, yoga, music, going to concerts, art, creative writing, collecting comics, being part of the YT community, being a night owl and staying close with my family. I love and respect all religions and am open to learning, discussion and friendly debate. :)
