Ya, I think they're losing their touch :( And I agree, it sounds like they're on the path to pumping out the same old album over and over with this one, and trying to make themselves more mainstream as they go. They used clean vocals WAY too much on this album. I love the clean vocals when they're used on Eschaton, Hell is Empty and All the Devils are Here and In the Constellation of the Black Widow, but here they're just over used and irritating. The breakdown elements also got to me a lot. I think you're right, I think they're just trying to make money now, while trying to keep some old elements so they don't lose their old fans. It's still not a terrible album, just incredibly disappointing. I hope they get back on track with the next release...

Agreed. I was pretty disappointed though. It's not a bad album but they were getting better and better with each album and this is where that trend stopped :P I loved In the Constellation of the Black Widow, it was probably my favourite album of theirs other than the Codex Necro, so I was expecting this one to be close to, if not better than Constellation. It's ok, but egh :P And why is Ashes Screaming Silence pretty much entirely composed of a breakdown? That confused me greatly.
