I also have Ableton Live 8 but I can't choose my VST Plug-ins. If I'm going to that Plug-In icon I only see a empty field and I can't choose anything. Could somebody please help me?! ;D

@DubSpot Oh okay thank you. But if I rescan it or select manually my VST plugins and I press the 'exit' button does my VST plugin automaticly appear in that VST folder?? I hope you understand me :P
