Yep. Palma Smart I think her name was? That was my hometown of Derry. She's not the most interesting thing, but then again, we don't have any Ed Geins or Jeffrey Dahmers roaming around New Hampshire. There was also a TV movie starring Helen Hunt called "Murder in New Hampshire". It's a quiet little state.
It takes a lot of practice. What you could do is draw a bunch of pictures and incorporate them into the flash program instead of trying to draw everything in flash with a mouse. It's pretty simple. David Firth did that. do you know of his work?
Also, would you be interested in chatting on a messenger sometime? I have AIM, MSN and Yahoo, currently, but I also have skype, which I've been in the habbit of using lately.

Ooh, you should totally listen to more of Aphex's stuff. Everything he does is so very deverse, he can be really fast and chaotic to very slow and melancholy. Look up his stuff here in youtube. It's still cool you got to meet up with DSI, though.
Flash isn't all that hard, it just takes alot of experimentation and fooling around, I guess. What are you planning on animating?

Ah, so you bought yourself a flash animation program, eh? It's pretty difficult to understand. It took me about four months to figure it out myself before I was actually able to make a decent animation. If you'd like, I'd love to help you out with it. I've been trying to get back in the groove of things and making my own animated series.

Yep, DSI is very much Italian. Shame about Skinny Puppy, though. I practically grew up on industrial. Some of which I still listen to. One of my favorites is Aphex Twin. I think he's a genius. If you haven't heard any of his stuff, you should most definitely check him out.
