Olmos what a screen presence..so intense especially in the dramatic dialouge scenes...when he shows up in the a scene you feel like something is just going happen....he had this going in the BSG series as well

Special appearances by Jerry Jones and Troy Aikman..lol not likely bt would be cool to see J.R. buy the the Cowboys from Jones (or somehow swindle him out of the team) and make them a winner again even if only on the show

Havn't seen this yet but from word of mouth and checking out other reviews your review seems pretty fair i'd say..when i heard Lucas was producing this the first thing that hit me was DIALOUGE..i saw the HBO version from the 90's and it was much more character driven over the action Redtails look...

@redmustang03 ......the possible irony to this is that the Iranian Air Force now flies the F-14 (bought from the US) so i wonder if Cruise and company might come with a storyline that has the US Navy up against a country flying a fighter we all know and love as the enemy

@crybabygirl08 .....i agree just based on the novels alone Book 3 was a letdown plus it didn't help in the first 2 mini series that there were some changes like the omission of Cooper Main in the mini series versions (and then he just shows up in mini series3) Orry dies in Book 2 during the war (...

North and South (Book 1&2) along with "V" The Original and The Final Battle were to me as kid in the80's THE best mini series of decade ..re watching them over and over to this present day and never gets "old"
