Colin Taylor AKA The Unsinkable Boxer hails from the creative musical cradle that is Glasgow, Scotland and delivers the sweetest punch to the heart.

Whilst relatively new on the scene, this debut under his latest guise, belies his hitherto 'hidden under the bushel' anonymity. His previous work has been hailed by such luminaries as BBC Radio 2's Johnnie Walker and Bob Harris.

Taylor owns 'The Cooler Studios' and is constantly writing and recording with a small band of musician friends who have played with the likes of Travis, Joe Cocker, Robbie Williams and Paolo Nutini.

The Unsinkable Boxer - The eponymously titled, stunning new album re-introducing Colin Taylor in his latest incarnation.

Released on Britanicana Music, this is intelligent pop for music lovers, with a human touch - meant to be held, savoured and contemplated long after the day is done.

Co-produced by Geoff Martyn, (ex Travis), with a crack musical collective, Taylor has written and created what has been variously described as "a rich tapestry of intelligent pop music", "a meticulously hand crafted set of melody laden songs" and a "record not to surf on top of but to dive headlong into". It is essentially British sounding with flourishes of Americana. At times epic, at times sparse, it takes you to a place where the west coast of Scotland meets the west coast of America and delivers the sweetest punch to the heart.
