The Ugly Kitchen is a channel for everyday people out there who love to cook, brought to you by people who are NOT professionals - we are just like you. We've learned from a family member, trial and error, or a combination of the two. We have a lack of fancy utensils but have grown comfortable working with what we have, in a variety of different spaces - small kitchens, large kitchens, or...ugly kitchens. These videos are not necessarily tutorials, but a collection of recipes that our cooks have used over and over again and know that their friends and family love. They will also be sharing tips and tricks that they have learned over the years that might be helpful to others. The goal of the Ugly Kitchen is to encourage people to start cooking and be CREATIVE - don't let a few missing ingredients, utensils, or a small kitchen hold you back. None of us are snobs, we may not always do things by the book, and professional chefs will probably turn their noses up at us...but we love to cook and have discovered, right or wrong, what recipes and tricks work for US, and we want to share them with YOU.
