Thank you Patria, as it happens my GGfather emigrated during the attempted 'Russification' period. Although none of our family knew this until I uncovered genealogical information that led me to study the amazing history of Finland and her folkelore. All the best! :)

Back when I was serving with MarDet/Motor Transport at NAS Whidbey Island WA back in the early '80s, we'd send the uninitiated down to the Seabee's shack for a Machinist's Mate Punch, that ended with a similar result.
