heading out to the jetty in a few minutes. catch the high tide. let you know how i do.

THE FISHING WAS HOT OUT ON THE JETTY TODAY. WE HAD TO FISH IN CLOSE BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT. THERE WERE QUITE A FEW SNAGS AND LOST HOOKS. BUT FOR ANYONE PATIENT ENOUGH THE PAY OFF WERE FAT CABEZON AND SOME NICE SIZED GREENLING. SAND SHRIMP WAS WORKING WELL. SEEN A LOCAL FISHERMAN BRING IN TWO NICE CABBIES. THERE WERE DOZENS OF FISHERS ON THE JETTY AND, ALL SEEM TO BE CATCHING DINNER. WELL GOOD LUCK, T.M.

The fishing is heating up on the jetty. Caught several nice black snapper today nothing huge but decent pansize fish. What the locals like to call taco size as the smaller younger fish are the tastiest. The pin fish and other baitfish are in the bay in large numbers. This in turn should start to attract bigger fish. We should see more lingcod getting caught soon. Well thats about all to report. good ,luck fishing T.M.

Finally got to get out on the jetty today. The water is still a little off [cloudy] but is improving. Quite a few anglers out today. Seen a lot of little black snapper getting caught.They were hitting the curly tails white being the predominate color of choice. I think I might just go again tomorrow. well good luck fishing,T.M.

BEEN FISHING FOR TROUT AT LAKE MARIE FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS. WAITING FOR THE WATER IN THE BAY TO SETTLE DOWN. I'LL TRY THE JETTY TOMORROW. THE TIDE WILL BE HIGH IN THE AFTERNOON. LET YOU KNOW IF I DO ANY GOOD. T.M.

It is raining today. Supposed to rain tomorrow also. Might get out sunday and do some fishing. The state stocked lake marie with another thousand trout last week. So if i can't get out on the jetty or a charterboat. Will go after some trout at the very least. well good luck fishing, t T.M.

Went out to the jetty yesterday caught some nice striped perch a good sea trout [greenling] and, a black rock fish. Put them in the smoker today. Not bad if you like fish jerky. I think i'll stick with trout and salmon though. Needless to say the fishing has improved with the weather. I think i'll go out tomorrow and toss a few jigs off the jetty see if the lings are up to biting. well good luck fishing, T.M.

THE RAIN AND WIND HAVE BEEN RELENTLESS AS OF LATE. FISHING AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD. WHEN THE SUN DOES COME OUT AGAIN WE WILL STAMPEDE THE BEACHES ,JETTIES AND LAKES. UNTIL THEN THE ONLY FISHING I WILL BE DOING IS ON THE INTERNET. GOOD LUCK, T.M.

FROM THE AMOUNT OF HITS MY CHANNEL HAS BEEN GETTING OF LATE. I HAVE SURMISED THAT EVERYONE IS GETTING A LITTLE FISHY. IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR. I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO GO OUT ON THE JETTY. IT JUST HASN'T BEEN ALL THAT NICE YET. STILL KIND'A DARK THE WATER AND THE SURF IS TEARING IT UP ALSO.TRY AND GET OUT TODAY AT HIGH TIDE AND TAKE A LOOK NOT HOLDING MY BREATH THOUGH. Went fishing at lake marie today caught a couple of nice trout. My buddy doug got his limit. I think I might make it out to the jetty tomorrow. The tide has been pushing back the muddy river water and the surf isn't to high. Talk to a couple of fellows that fish the jetty they caught a couple of keeper ling cod. Still isn't the greatest conditions but should improve. well that is the scoop. good luck T.M.

THE TROUT FISHING AT LAKE MARIE IS HOT RIGHT NOW. OREGON FISH AND WILDLIFE STOCKED THE LAKE WITH SOME NICE KEEPER AND LARGER FISH. BEEN LIMITING OUT IN A COUPLE OF HOURS. THE OCEAN HAS BEEN ROUGH AND THE WATER IS MURKY SO HAVING A LITTLE FISHING IN THE LAKES IS A GOOD WAY TO BEAT THE DULDRUMS WHILE WAITING FOR THE SEA TO SETTLE DOWN. GOOD LUCK AND TIGHT LINES ,T.M.
